About the Permanent Mission


The Permanent Mission to the United Nations represents our country before the humanity’s most representative and indispensable international body, and is vital branch of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which coordinates Panama’s foreign policy.

Supported by team of highly-trained professionals, the Permanent Mission exercises Panama’s foreign policy in affairs of international multilateral interest. The diplomatic role of the Permanent Mission is to represent Panama at the United Nations in the political framework of socioeconomic, humanitarian, legal, United Nations management, and international peace and security matters.

Its offices are located across the street from the United Nations headquarters in New York, at 866 United Nations Plaza, Suite 4030.
